You are in a position of leadership. This is a position of influence in relationship to your peers, your organization, and your immediate and extended community. You need to be very clear on your core values and how your leadership reflects those values.
In order to lead effectively, you need to know where you intend to go. You need to have a vision and a plan for how that vision will be actualized.
